Unleashed shifting is about the same as the rest. You will also have to datalog with unleashed to get the full effect of the tune. The gearhead auto octane tune you would not have to datalog. I would pay the extra hundred for gearhead if it were me.

I had about 4 different versions of LMS 93 tune over the last 4 years and Gearhead tune absolutely destroys LMS in shifting performance.

Oh that 'L' vendor is good for destroying things, that's for sure.

Especially as of late.

Glad to hear that the GH option is working out rather well for 'ya!

I'm still in shock to hear you say this, I always thought I was offending you when I posted my frustrations with them.

I think I need a GH E30 tune for my dyno sheets for a comparison.
going to be hard to beat the AJP tune I have now as this thing runs as perfect as I can imagine. Lets hope!
How much more HP is gained from a E30 tune from a 93 tune ?

Never dynoed the 93 only tune. But Bradley's meth 93 tune gained 44 hp more over LMS 93 meth tune
And the e30 tune was the same as the meth tune for hp. Just a guess about a 75 hp over a 93 only tune

Man, I can't wait to get an E30 tune from Matt at GH... I already ran a 12.72 at 108mph with just a AO tune and K&N drop in (only one pass ever, in +600ft DA), and while there was room for improvement, I can see the sky is the limit with E30. Just got to send him my datalogs and I'm set...

Had a few friends in a H/C G8 and a stock Scat Pack that went 12.3s... would like to match their times and I think an E30 tune is the ticket.

Torrie is the fastest and replies almost 24/7. He also makes fast, safe, and solid tunes. His tunes shift too hard for a daily driver in my opinion. But otherwise no complaints and excellent support and fast delivery.

When it comes to shifting up and down as well, everyone who has GearHead will say the same thing:"Nothing compares"

I only drive my SHO about 500 miles a month usually but it's mostly in sport mode and every stoplight is a chance to feel that crisp shifting as I come to a stop and again as I accelerate to the speed limit.

I have tunes from Unleashed, AJPTurbo, and GearHead. I'm looking into Ortiz next, just to see how they compare to the others.

Matt emailed me the other night and basically refused to get me an E30 tune without a HPFP.

He's real big on not blowing up motors and keeping the car very safe with fuel pressures. I have an extra pump I'll sell you if you want to feel the real powah. :)

He didn't recommend that to me... just wanted me to datalog my existing AO tune, and upgrade my plugs to his pre-gapped 542s.

Don't know what kind of fuel you were running or planning to run, but I always run Sunoco 93 octane from the pump, and was going to supplement 14 gallons of that with 5 gals of Sunoco E85-R for a guaranteed 85% ethanol (from the E85 additive), for a definite E30 with the mixture.

Your sho did not come with 542s from the factory.

Regarding all the E30 talk...make sure to check the actual E mix

I tested my station near me and it's actually around E72. I was calculating my mix based on E85, actually being 85 percent. Changing the calculation to 72 percent added a lot more E to the mix.

Matt's Reply to me:
"I really hate doing e30 tunes on stock pumps because you have to be extremely sure on your mix at all times. installing a sensor would be the minimum I’d do if it were me. The AO and e30 tunes will be different files. The issue is fuel pressure… I don’t feel comfortable… look at your fuel pressure on shift boost spikes and let me know what you think. The volume of the stock pump isn’t enough to push much harder than I do already with your AO."
