Secondary air pump removal

Hey folks. For future reference, the air pump can be removed out the top after removing the cooling fans. No need to lower the subframe as has been said. And both fans need to come out. It also helps if you take the pump out of the bracket.

In my case, the pump motor is fine but the impellor is coming apart. And some of the pieces got stuck between it and the housing causing the motor to seize and blow fuses.

I think I'm having trouble with mine, strange buzzing sound for about a minute after start up. Sounds like a motor. Where is it located ?

Its not too bad. Like most things drop the subframe a bit and pull it out the bottom. Probably possible to take it out the top, but I think there are things in the way.
