Would you be willing to share your datalog with me? I'm having a similar issue with mine after the GH intercooler, I'l down about 3 psi in whatever gear I launch in, but then it picks up normal after my shifts. Everything seems fine, just can't seem to hold boost and TIP is down compared to desired.

It also appears that my ceramic coating is starting to break down. However, it has gone through numerous sand storms and is roughly 7 months old. I should have put two layers on.

I need to fix two door dings on one of the rear doors. When I remove all of the chrome trim pieces, I will also fully paint correct the car again. It has some issues. I will then take it to my buddy and have a professional ceramic coating sprayed on it. That will keep her pretty, and my OCD at bay. However, the chrome is starting to really bug me.

Meant to ask, have you done anything with the stock turbo's yet, or still riding them out until you're ready to make a change. I believe you said elsewhere you're planning to go with GearHeads's new turbos if you do anything?

I have a couple things in life I am dealing with right now. I eluded to it more in depth here.

The SHO has been curbed for a little bit. Ideally I am going to get the upgraded transmission mounts next. Then will be the DP's, then HPFP, and then ultimately the Gearhead Turbos. Just going to take a bit more time, if the ship doesn't right itself.

I want to systematically get all of the supporting mods done, then add the turbos. On E30 500/500 will be the absolute minimum I will ask out of the set up.

Just rolling along. Been thinking about a couple of things. After reading this article looks like I am going to be stepping away from the the E30 tune for a couple of reasons.

https://www.thefreelibrary.com/Infl...s+on+Low+Speed+Pre-Ignition+in...-a0528616644

First and foremost to regain fuel pressure. I am stuck with the stock HPFP on E30 right now. Brad and I both agree we cannot turn the car up any more without compromising fuel pressure. The turbos while still being worn out, have just a bit left in them, but fuel pressure is the issue. With more LSPI articles and ethanol blends coming out I am leaning towards a new fuel source.

I have been driving the SHO less then 100 miles a week mainly on the weekend. I can get straight Sunoco 95 octane at $6 dollars a gallon out of the pump nearish my house. They also have unleaded 100 for $8 a gallon. That should give me the octane, relieve the fuel pressure, and be able to turn the turbos up all the way at a decent price point. I will be looking into doing that in the car and logging this weekend. I have not fallen wayward on the 400 hp goal. Looking at max effort....lol.

I wish I had 100 around here because my current DD tune prefers that per LMS. As always, looking forward to your updates and best of luck crossing the 400whp mark!

Well I completely found the point of no return with my brake set up. There was a certain WRX that had to die in Mexico, and I was his huckleberry. At a very high rate of speed (almost terminal) I asked the car to start slowing down. It promptly responded to me like it was a suggestion. Needless to say, I was not impressed with this outcome, and could actually see brake dust and smoke trailing down the street as the car came to a less then stellar stop. I had it fully under control, however it was laboring.

Looking to upgrade pads first, and it is looking between EBC, Hawk, and someone else give me a suggestions. Right now EBC Yellow's are in the lead, however I am going in depth with this. This is twice this has happened now. I know SS lines are going in down the road as well. Fluid is new, but I am thinking about switching to the Motul. The SS lines, and pads will only be a band aid, because I know big brakes will have to be put on the car once the turbos, DP's, and HPFP upgrades are installed.

Yep bigger better brakes for sure. What pads are you running? On my last car I found mid grade ceramics to be very quiet but with hard stopping my Hawks were way better. This was many years ago so I'm sure other compounds are better out there. Heck my old school dust makin performance friction semi metallics were a great street pad for how I used to drive.

Carbotech and Porterfield pads are also worth a look for heavy duty work. If EBC Orangestuff is available, that too.

Stainless steel lines are more of a bling thing but they do firm up pedal feel.

You already have a gen 5 SHO so mc and bb are not needed. I don't think you can get replacement calipers with drilled pistons, otherwise that woulda been nice too.

Consider getting rid of the shields altogether if rocks and stuff are not an issue on your area.
