Gosh. I hammered it right out of the gate. I waited about 1 mi after letting the engine warm upIf you can, take the positive cable off battery fort about 20 minutes then load new tune. This will erase the kam memory and let your tranny start fresh with learning shifts. Then drive easy for about 50 miles then do some WOT.
Trying to help, as I have the same issues with the LMS tune. On the string 'LMS vs Gearhead "Canned tunes" I noticed at least one of the members with no LMS issues has a high pressure fuel pump. Also, he has both the gearhead and LMS tunes. My car has 57,000 miles, and I"m thinking that a new pump might be my next purchase, as I will have soon have both tunes also.

Is the v14 cutting back on the power a lil bit ? Or is it just shift points that are revised ?
I have V15 tunes and I can’t tell any power difference over the V11 on the performance 3 bar. That’s just butt dyno, though. I didn’t run before/after numbers or anything. Is the v14 cutting back on the power a lil bit ? Or is it just shift points that are revised ?
I loaded my first v11 in October. I'm in Northern Ohio, so it's cold, and there is no question the symptoms are worse as the temperature drops. I just ordered a Gearhead auto octane adjust tune with an sct tuner. I may try one more program from recommendations here, and will run the winter with the best of those tunes. In the spring, I will go to the track on a day when ambient temp is at least 60 degrees. If LMS is correct about the variable of temperature, I will likely have no issues with the v11, and if so, will run their tune all summer. Then, go to GH or possibly AJPT, for winter. ET's will decide. I really want to replace my fuel pump with a firestorm, but they are over $1500. Pretty sure the pump is the silver bullet. I'll post when all is recorded. This thread has inspired me to try the v11 93 octane tune again. During my exchanges with LMS back in march/april, disabling traction control was never brought up by them. I ran an AJP 93 octane tune all summer with no issues, then switched to my LMS 91 octane tune when the weather dropped below 50 and just haven't driven it aggressively at all.
I loaded the LMS V11 93 hard shift tune the other day, and today I gave it a few WOT runs with traction control turned off from a dead stop and a few from a roll. It did not have any issues, and it was around 40 degrees today. To me, that is a band aid not an actual fix. I don't want to have to turn traction control off every single time I start my car. I don't have to do that with either of my other two tunes from other places,. It would be very easy to forget to do that, and next thing you know the car just falls on its face rather than accelerating as you would expect, and that could put a person in a dangerous position on the road.
For troubleshooting purposes, the first V11 93 worked flawlessly on my car for about two weeks. It was not until I finally got my downpipes moved over from my old car to this one, and then loaded the V11 downpipes tune that I started having issues.

In the meantime, could everyone with v11 issues reply with the temperatures they are driving in?
Thanks

I think you’re correct. I first got the v11 around thanksgiving. It was unseasonably warm here around 60. I didn’t notice any issues at first. I first noticed the high RPM shuddering on a trip a week or so later when it was in the low 30s. It’s been mid 40s or lower ever since.
I didn’t notice any missed shifts where it dropped into neutral until they started messing with the tunes, and it has not done that again on v15, so that just seems to be an aberration.
I really need to get some gauges so I can monitor fuel pressure. I bet it’s dropping pretty low when it shudders above 6000 RPM.
Good to know. Been thinking about getting a tuner for the Mustang, so maybe I’ll get an X4 for it and use it for logging on the SHO. I assume it will log anything you plug it into and it doesn’t have to be married to the car.You can pickup a used SCtX4 for around $250... you can monitor just about everything with one of those in real time, datalog, etc... resolution is really good.

I ordered an SCT tuner Monday, and will get the GH tune for auto octane just to get started. It will be my go-to tune when traveling and octane is questionable.Yes I have a AJPTurbo tune and a UPR catch can. The catch can is really easy to install and there are many videos that can show how to install the can the proper way. Also if you purchase one I can help with the install as well.
Yes I run mid 12's (12.50's) at full weight and I weight 250 lbs. Pretty sure I can get it into the 12.30's next track session in January. I use Brad's E30 tune. I have gone through about 5 revisions just on the E30 tune. I have a lot of tunes by Brad. I have a stock 3 bar, a 91 3 bar, and mild to wild E30 tunes. My SHO isn't my daily so I have zero problem beating on her. She is actually down getting a transmission upgrade as we speak.
Here is a good thread and I have lengthy explaination on why I use E30. You can also learn about some stuff on the fuel systems on the SHO's. My response is #46. You will see alot of crossover between members here and there.

I use the SCT LiveWire. It hold 10 tunes, I see what parameters I want in real time, I can set alarms, and I can data log. SBS is correct. You will have to buy a SCT device (either a X4 or a LiveWire). Brad is a dealer for the device. You will need plugs, and 3 bar MAP (in most cases) and at least a K&N drop in. You will need to data log. Brad likes a couple of logs. TC off, standing stop, 1st through 3rd gear full throttle pull. Then a 3rd gear 20-30 mph pull all the way to red line.
Here is my personal thread about the adventures of me and my SHO. I am still chasing a couple of goals.
