2014 looks like it has all the options incl.PP 47k mi. the dealer called me to come and look at this car a few mo. ago as you can see in some of the pics. it was very dirty.i told the sales mgr. i couldnt beleive they would call a customer to see such a dirty car and left.since then they call me back and said it was detailed to within a inch of its life lol. i will reinspect it on mon. too much happening this weekend. also can someone tell me why i do want or dont want the PP.

Looks like it has aftermarket lights, so I'd see what else might of been done to it. Might have a tune still on it too.

That's the hard part...not really sure on that one. I would think they'd return it to stock before selling it but you never know.

The PP has slightly lower final drive gearing (better launches?), better cooling, etc. Some people don't want it because it gets a slightly lower 0-60 time than the "normal" SHO.

The slightly slower 0-60 is because the gearing change makes the 2-3 shift happen right before 60MPH ;)

I like it because it pulls like a mother from a stop-light especially when I preload the turbos.

It's basically the cop-car drivetrain. OIl cooler, PTU is coolant "cooled" (or heated, depending on your point of view), etc. Supposedly uprated springs/shocks.

i made a deal that will include a powertrian warranty in case it wasnt tuned right.

Problem is, if it WAS ever tuned and it was picked up by any dealership, the car is already flagged and you will NOT be getting any warranty work approved. If i were you, I'd have them run the VIN through OASIS.

OASIS is Ford/dealer-only software. You would normally be able to ask the selling dealer for one if a serious buyer.

IDK if Ford will note the "tuned" aspect in OASIS. I have not found it to be 100% especially on items covered by Ford warranty.

Really? I thought the non-PP SHO was only faster tuned. In stock form I thought the PP SHO was slightly quicker.

I would think they would be obligated to tell you the warranty in invalidated at purchase time. Otherwise the CPO warranty should be honored.

Slightly slower and I mean slight. I believe because of the shift that occurs right before 60
