P0011 - Intake Camshaft Position Timing - Over-Advanced (Bank 1)
P0018 - Crankshaft Position - Camshaft Position Correlation - Bank 2 Sensor A
P0021 - Intake Camshaft Position Timing - Over-Advanced (Bank 2)
P052A - Cold Start Intake (A) Camshaft Position Timing Over-Advanced (Bank 1)
Noise would be my concern, it runs poor, and the fact that both banks are effected. It's not going to be two sensors failing at the same time. I'm fairly certain that the cam phasers are spring loaded to base timing and oil pressure advanced. The code is telling you that the cam timing is advanced on both banks, even at start up. You shouldn''t start advancing valve timing until you're at higher rpm's. When you start looking at everything as a whole it looks like a fair chance that the chain slipped. In my mind, low oil pressure would set under advanced dtc's and I can't for the life of me think of anything that would keep both phasers advanced, especially at start up.I'd want to physically verify base cam/crank timing is correct. When you said the noise went away, did it still continue to run poorly? (mechanical failures don't fix themselves) The only other thing I could think to do would be to unplug the solenoids, clear the dtc's and start it. With the solenoids unplugged it should be stuck at base timing so the over advanced codes shouldn't set. If they do, it has to be mechanical. If you think the chain slipped, I'd be weary about running it any more than I had to.
