I do not have any info on the SHO thrust washers yet. I will look into it, but have not known anyone that has replaced them. I have never heard of any going bad tbh... Piston rings and pistons can be found st SHOnutperformance.com I think

I reused the old ones. The motor I rebuilt had over 200k and the thrust bearings looked new so I didn't mess with them. There's probably a way to adapt the Toyota ones but I didn't see a good reason to.
Hi is there any one who has a set of thrust washer for that engine I'm missing a set to be able to rebuild my sho engine oh if i bore out my 3.0 liter to 3.2 can i use the 3.0 liter gasket or i have to update to the 3.2 liter head gasket thank any answer will be appreciated

@mavericksav All credit to you for finding it. All I did was reconfirm and test it. I'll add your name in the original post. Also thanks for the discovery and documentation you did
I know it. It was some kind of sentimental post (answer) to the guy who gave you a medal :hi5:

Could you try one thing please? Do you have in US Mondeo ST 220 MTX or analog (fusion 3.0 MTX)? If yes? could you take measure from it differential. I think it very close to SHO

Mondeo was never offered in the U.S. This was discussed as an option a long time ago and maybe one or two were sourced from Europe but I don't remember.

Have 4k on the bearings now and still going good. Did an oil change and it was clean with no shavings. Oil pressure is still great.
It would be interesting to see an oil analysis from BlackStone Labs. I've done a couple on my other vehicles but haven't sent in one from my SHO yet. It's only $28 for just the basic tests.

What measurements do you need. The closest trans to what you are thinking is likely the 3.0 Mazda 6 trans. I have one I can measure external dimensions for you if that's what you want.

Didn't the Contour use that MTX75 (probably wrong name, but it had "75" in the name) 5-speed that was used by a number of other cars? Scott Krietemeyer originally was going to use one of those for the MTX conversion in his Gen 3 V8 SHO, but he then switched to the Mazda 6 MTX, for reasons I've forgotten.

I'd like to have bell photo with measurements between bolts (by diagonal too), bell diameter, and long.
Differential body diameter, axels input diameter, maybe something I forgot

2 MTX on 1 photo bell up will de perfect :)

Yes. Scott switched for a couple reasons I think. Fitting the mtx75 in the chassis was the main reason I believe, it was just too long.
