Hello all,

I am new to the SHO world but not high performance vehicles. I've had more experience with Mopar, Ford, and still love Pontiac Trans AM's especially the the 98-2002 generation. That being said, I sadly in a more responsible decision sold my 2015 Challenger Scat Pack recently. My wife hated it and I saved some of the money and now need a different kind of toy.

Looking at several. Which of the general do you think would be best for modding (tune, 3 map, and others) and what type of things to look out for?
2013 non pp, green gem metallic, 56k miles, loaded, one owner with records. $17k

2013 black, pp, already livernois tuned, loaded 51k miles and $19,500.

2015 49k miles black, non pp, loaded. $22,500

2014 pp, 11k miles, loaded and $23k

Personally, I like the cheaper green one and the 2013 pp but I kind of like idea of a newer one. However, I guess they are the same and the cheaper one would leave more room to mod. The

What things to look out for and any input would be helpful. I look forward to learning more and having an SHO soon.

PP has extra coolers and such but after being tuned there is not much difference and some would say the non-PP are quicker at the track all things being equal(one less shift to 60 and before 1/4 mile). Maintenance history is important so that would weigh in for me if available. No real difference on the newer ones, I don't think they got sync3 until 2016.

Personally if it is in good shape I would be looking at the green one because 1. maintenance history, 2. I dig the green, and 3. it is an uncommon color.

What are you doing with it? Just a toy or driver?

Thx Lostneye

I like the green one too. The one bad thing is that it has those wimpy 19 inch tires. The tuned 2013 is enticing since has new BFG tires and already tuned from Livernois at their shop.
I plan using the car daily when I don't need my minivan and to mod for possible track runs occasionally.

iirc, all the factory wheels are heavy, so you might want lighter wheels in any case.

If you like the green, go that way - more $$ left to make it exactly yours.

A tune and new tires are less than the difference in asking price. A tune isn't necessarily a turn off as quite a few "car people" take better care than most but without maintenance records I'd be wary.
That being said sometimes it's not about money you just want something, an option, a color, etc and if it does it for you than go for it.

Thx. It was tuned by Anthony @ Livernois. Some maintenance records from second owner. Who's owned it 13 months and reason for selling is getting a 2017 SHO in the new blue. I am trying to go with any under 60k mile, no accidents, and some proof of care. Would prefer pp but hard to find. The greeen with a tune, tires and better looking rims could be awesome. I like the black pp 2013 that's already done but maybe that's not as much. Plus that one is 12 hours away.

Not as much fun I meant to be able to do the mods to my liking.
