Those touch pad strips are notorious for going bad. When we get lease returns, we have to make that work to certify the car for the extended Lincoln warranty, and about 1/3 of them are bad. If you still have warranty, get it fixed. Otherwise, expect to pay around $300 because the part is stupid expensive...

Thanks Ruby, I will just take it up to Ford dealer.

Just finished up the Z06 ended up doing a lot more than originally planed but she's ready for an LS beatdown should be mid to low ten second car I just hope the local cops have a good sense of humor wanted to keep the miles off the SHO but not because I have to walk everwhere , had a close call the other day took my father for a ride opened her up a little not really paying attention all of a sudden my dad was like are we really doing 160 opps I couldn't even tell with the new suspension set up so I slowed down real quick right as I did cop came around the cornor was out on a back road away from town where they hardly ever patrol guess it was my lucky day but the SHO will be next it will be coming to you guys in the spring going to start with all the bolt ons and eventually do the meth injection have to give all those 6.4 hemis a run for there money

Yea had that discussion with my neighbor he's a Ford engineer had a whipple 03 cobra loved the car and it was a lot of fun but at the end of the day even with the suspension mods it handled like a snow plow very nose heavy and it was still a 3900 pound mustang only got mid 11s with it , my neighbor told me he was going to bring home one of those new GT 500s and kick my ass so I took him for a ride this was in 2014 on my old set up and a sliping clutch we got back to the house he said never mind even with the 408 stroker motor in it she came in at 3380 weight wise

Thanks everyone for the advice on the front air dam, proud to report it is fixed! Blue painters tape, putty knife and a screw driver... got it popped back on. And for the record, no nails were broken :D I tried fixing it last weekend, but didn't realize I could push so hard, felt like I was going to damage something!

Welcome! I'm curious what your take is between your new SHO and your 'stang... can you feel much difference in power? Does the SHO handle as well as you hoped, coming from a Mustang?

I traded in a 13 GT 5.0 stick for my current 14 SHO non-PP.

Both remained bone stock, and the 5.0 was definitely quicker (could chirp the tires in 4th gear with standard gearing), but I figured that much. After all, we're comparing the Stang with 420hp/3600 lbs vs the SHO's 365hp/4350 lbs. But that's ok by me, as I appreciate the extra room and AWD. Definitely worth it.

Peckrul, this is a forum wherein the only communication between you and us is what you type.

Making us spend extra time trying to decipher your postings due to the lack of punctuation is rude.

Please take a few extra seconds, put the occasional period or comma where they belong, and life will be much improved for all.

Thank you.

Every forum I've ever been on, and there have been a lot, has gone through this topic and beaten it to death.

There are those of us that use the Queen's english when posting and there are those that use typonese.

It takes all kinds to make up a community, and we're not always going to agree on certain things. So how about we just let this one slide and get on with it, yeah?

This is Angela's thread. Let's not muddy it up.

I agree thought this was a car forum not an on line english class , a lot of times when im posting I'm at work dealing with issues so a lot of time I'm multi tasking dealing with robot issues or programming issues , I don't do social media **** I barely have enough time to sleep these days anyone that works in the automotive industry is probably going through the same thing right now , bought a 2015 pp SHO wanted more information on the car thought this would be a good place guess I was wrong .

Yea, this is the wrong place for information because someone called you out for being to busy/lazy/multi tasking/absent of common courtesy/rude. Then you have to be a smart ass after a longtime member said "please". Oh boo hoo, I'm to busy to type like an adult, I'd rather insult people and complain that I'm butt hurt about it.
:)
Angela, enjoy the car, enjoy getting your knuckles dirty and don't be afraid.
