Hello all. Have 2011 SHO, that has started to get worse with 2 issues. 1st at an idle (park or drive), the oilcan illuminates in message center. But disappears with a tap on the gas, only to return when at idle again. Only does it during colder months, after car has been driven for 10-15 mins. 2nd I always idle the car 3-10 minutes depending on outside temp. Once normal operating temperature is reached, climate system blows hot air like it should. However, when I'm at an idle(drive or park), will start blowing cold air until accelerator is depressed to achieve 1000rpm's or greater. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! I am capable of doing the repair work, assuming I know what the problem(s) is/are. Thanks in advance.

Will do, thank you.
worked like a champ! Added nearly Qt of coolant, works great. Changed oil, with Royal Purple 5w30, and Bosch Premium filter. For a short time, thought my "light" was a thing of the past....no such luck :-(. Once I had the "skid-plate" removed, saw that there was/is an oil leak. Initially thought that it was coming from filter. But after wiping, and closer inspection, I think it the oil pressure switch/sending unit or whatever each auto parts dealer wants to call it. Question is, would a leak here cause the "oil-can light"(light blue/green in message center, not red or amber next to instrument clusters) to come on at an idle, but turn off as soon as you touch the accelerator? Although the part seems inexpensive ($25.00+/- at Napa), getting to it, is a whole other story! Before I start disassembling my baby, just want to make sure that this is the problem. Any insight, would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
