I don't believe there is alot of hard data on this. It is all pretty much the seat of the pants type stuff (which is sketchy at best). From talking to a number of people that have driven both in the same car/motor....I was told that the biggest thing that they noticed was that the car pulled to a higher Rpm with the MTX cams. When I say higher I mean a few 100 rpm's higher, not to 8k. This could benefit other breathing mods to the engine more than ATX cams. With ATX cams you have a little more torque lower in the RPM band which some like for DD. In all honesty the difference is minimal and wouldnt make that much of a performance difference either way. our engines have low torque anyway and 15ft/lbs isnt gonna matter that much. I don't think drivability would be effected much either. I have aftermarket cams, lightened flywheel and a stage 3 clutch. After about a minute in the car to get used to everything it is perfectly drivable.
