OK well cooling system got a flush at least since I had to install a new radiator. Noticed sediment in bottom of coolant jug, probably from a fitting somewhere that is deteriorating. New radiator has been installed and a trans cooler too.
Temperatures are still the same as before. At least the trans never got above 150 cruising down the highway with ambient temps in the 60s.
I did notice what looked to be red RTV squeezing out of the thermostat housing. Looks like someone has been in there before, that can't be factory. Next step, thermostat?
