Put the car on the dyno to get a few base lines since some things have changed.

first pull the car made 228 (street trim)
then pulled the cutouts and made 243.5whp

The car is pulling timing about 6k and hitting 10.8:1 at WOT by 6800rpm.
So the car in 5 months did not lose any power which is good.

here is some video.

Nice HP!! What did you make as far as torque?

You are making me want to add a cutout to my exhaust now. Where did you position your cutout at?

I have a shosource equal length catless. I wonder what would happen if I had a cutout just after the Y. It might make it really stinky inside the car though.

I'll guess it will work better farther down the pipe, as the pulses settle down a bit.

So, you made 243 thru an open y-pipe, and you think that you're a tune away from 260? There aren't many, but there are cars that dyno 250+ to the wheels with full exhaust.

I don't see 260whp happening on anything but a very high reading dyno.

Eh 250 is possible forsure, 260 might be getting up there unless the current tune is just 100% trash. But even the 10hp is a pretty big bump. Especially if its throughout the entire RPM range.

I made 430whp through a full exhaust, yo!

But...you probably meant NA SHO's.

Oh yeah, I made 257whp through full exhaust with a 3.0 (well, it used to be mine)

I will put up or shut up. Some good fuel, nice tune, head work, intake work as well as some headers. It will make it.

Once I turn the green car into full DD/winter status things will go full retard with the car.
