Took the blue ************* to get dynoed today. 206whp,

3.2 swap
3.0 intake cams
UDP
Y pipe
PNP & BBB

I think my stock catback is really doing me in. Im thinking a 2.5" exhaust would really open things up. Thinking about redesigning the collector on the y pipe cause its not the best looking collector either. I should have the dyno sheet emailed to me within a couple days and Ill post it up.

EDIT: So I got emailed the dyno sheet and obviously im not making 197whp at 7000rpm. Something is wrong with the dyno calibration if you ask me. What do I need to do? Do I need to demand for another dyno pull with the correct callibration?

I don't think the stock catback is robbing you of any power. If anything I think your car sounds pretty healthy and right where it should be, numbers wise. Yes, I know that engine at one time made 215 FWHP in another car, but there could have been different variables at play.

I was told the dyno reads about 15% slower then most. It was a AWD dynamics dyno. I think there is more to be had.

Dyno numbers don't mean a whole lot, especially if the previous numbers came from a different dyno.

206whp = 245chp

Y-pipe and intake giving you 25hp sounds spot on.

Your stock catback is not holding you back in any way IMO.

Toolman you wanna put my # up then lol. I ran mine today as well since they botched it 6 months ago when I paid so I got it free. Any who Same dyno which is weird. But 188.7hp and 191ft/lbs of trq lol. Only reason I'm posting this here instead of my own thread is I'm delaying the wait time till I get flamed by someone. And zach I don't mean to steal your thread. Just that when me and you ran on the way back in KY and I was just as fast as you on the one pull I was like WTF??

I have the dyno sheet for my 91 (can't remember where I put it; Dynojet), but I have a similar setup to yours, except I also have an 80mm MAF and a TwEECer and I dyno'd 221 at the wheel. My white 3.0 95 dyno'd 210whp with only a y-pipe and 75mm MAF (dyno type unknown). I'm planning on adding Tri-flow cams to my 3.2 build and a professional tune. I'm hoping for around 250+hp at the wheel when I'm finished.

I think a dynojet will yield different results. The only reason I got it dynoed there was because it was free.

"hi, I'm a ****ing ***** who thinks with his dick instead of his brain, I'm convinced this is okay because my dick's never seen anything besides my hand and the inside of my underwear. I drive a 20year old used car that's been worked on by a 19 year old who thinks he's god's gift to pep boys, and there's nothing I love more than acting like a **** to people who go out of their way to help me, tell them what to do on their home turf as if I have a leg to stand on, ***** about people setting things or leaning on the car, when the paint and body stopped looking good when Clinton was in office. I then half ass my thank you to the guy who fixes my car and saves me hundreds of dollars having some hokey ass central illinois repair shop fix it, and leave without bothering to help clean up the mess from fixing my leaking ************* car and just to put the cherry on the What the **** sunday, I decide making highway pulls on my questionable status vehicle is a solid plan without AAA or enough tools, or even a fvcking flashlight to do anything about it, also, my car is slow."

that should about sum it up.

Im not going to lie, Justin kept up better than I thought. I still think if my car was empty instead of having 200 pounds of junk in my car it would have been alot different.

Well I did clean all the tools up and asked were they went and I was told just to set them on the table. I also asked were the kitty litter was and I can't remember what was told to me but it was along the lines idk were it is and that I should just go get my stuff ready. If there was some other mess besides the brake fluid ect I don't remember it.

But I do have a question.

This is zach's dyno thread why is it off track?

I will happily go start a thread in the general section if someone wants me to so you can all flame me over what I may or may not have done.

so don't bring up illegal highway pulls either.

back on topic...

Zach, what exactly did you have in mind when you were talking about the collector?
