Buying Parts...
I was feeling giddy after a long day at work and take off from a stop light, I didn't give it enough gas to squeal the tires. ran up to 6500 rpm, drop into second and it catches @ 5000 rpm and bogs some, I'm going about 50, I let off, shift into 3rd and already I feel something is wrong, I put it in 4th and the car is definitely screwing up.
I make it about another 200 yards and the car dies. I roll off into a side street and when I go to crank the thing is just makes a grinding noise, I can't tell from where.
I tried and coupe times to start and the engine doesn't seem to turn over but I hear grinding. I look under and there's nothing leaking or dripping.
I walk to the first house on the block and the guy is great and gives me a ride back to my friend's house. I stopped at the car and this time it turned over twice like normal with no noise then started grinding again.
I'm totally about to breakdown, I've put so much time and love into this car and I'm so busy right now I can't afford this..
My thoughts after the initial shock went away are:
-I blew the diff
-started popped of the fly wheel
- the timing belt jumped
-shredded a rod bearing..
I dont know, any ideas???
