The SHOforum 12 second Challenge.

So we've already seen what the Ecoboost SHO's can do. They seem to have no problems dipping in to the 12's. However, the V6 and V8 SHO's seems to stuck in the low 13's, Save for Josh, Mark & Alex. With the weather warming up and winter projects coming to a close, It's time we get some Friendly Competition going.

Who will be the next SHO in the 12's?

• Will Brian from PA be able to get a E.T. to match his AMAZING 114 MPH Trap?

• How about SHOamo? He's got the right subframe, some DR's and the driving ability, How about a 12 second ET? Or will Blackonblack89 get there first?

• Whiteguy3, Your ATX should have quite a good chance once it's tuned...That setup has gone 12.70's before!

• Or will James be able to come from behind in his MTX Gen III on the spray?

• Lets not forget Tim Tyner, If he EVER gets his SHO running I'm expecting some INSANE trape speeds...but will he ever get it to hook up?

• Finally, There is my ultra rare green 92. Almost there with a 13.1...But will the stock clutch hold on long enough to go in the 12's? My guess is NO!

We don't know! Not until everyone gets out there and races.

It will work like this; From now until AFTER the convention, We will keep track of those who wish to run in this 1/4 Times.

Here are the rules.

Run Faster then a 12.99 and be able to BACK IT UP! This means run a 12.99 more then once.

Provide proof!!! You will have to Provide a Timeslip. A Video will also work with the ET CLEARLY Visible. That's all there is to
it.

While it is the "12 Second Challenge", That is merely an Expectation. We will go off the fastest ET for EACH class, Weather or it's in the 12's.

• Fastest V6 Taurus SHO.

• Fastest V8 Taurus SHO.

• Fastest SHO powered Vehicle.

• Fastest Ecoboost SHO (2010-2011)

The winner in each class will get a Small trophy with Their name and "SHOforum 12 second Challenge" engraved on it, I'll cover that.

I think I'd destroy something expensive if I put drag slicks on.

And one for non Ford cars or extremely modified cars? The Other Woman is lonely at the top. If I could grow some bigger ones, I'd turn on the nitrous, run some real street tires instead of BFG MudTerrains and be in the 11's.

tom I have a non ford SHO powered project. we could run them. I don't think it will be in the 11's though :swing:

My money is on Whiteguy93 all the way! I know what that setup is capable of and if adam can get the car to launch then I don't think he will be looking at mid to high 12's I think he has a fighting chance to see low 12's high 11's with a KILLER 60'. You have to remember he will have the 3rd ever turbo ATX. That car will be a absolute BLAST to ride around in I can promise you that!

I'm in without a doubt! Figured out Alex's issues this past week which in turn figured mine out. The new T67 is getting ordered soon. Gonna probably run 8-11psi on the track with DR's. I wanna get in the 12's on 6-8psi though! Maybe even sub 2.0 60ft's.

Drew will probably get it before I do just depending on timing with getting mine done. His setup is serious including his not-so-short throw shifter that got put in!

Brian is literally knocking on 12's. I could see him getting it if he let his balls hang all out for a couple of runs.

Tim is probably gonna get the fastest Trap speed but traction is the key for sure. He's got a nice setup too.

Who wouldn't pull for a MTX GEN 3 in the 12's on spray? C'mon. Sound beautiful going down the track too!
