Well it finally arrived...

I'm the proud owner of a tri-white SHO with Perf. Pkg. No problems on the ride home. Was a little worried after some reviews but I didn't find it to stiff.

Getting the Weathertech mats and replacing the tires with Michelin Primacy MXV4 later this week. Anyone interested in the Goodyear F1 tires at a good price? (located in southern New Hampshire).

I purchased two additional keys but the dealer was having problems programming the new keys. I tried too at home. Dealer is contacting Ford for their expertise in completing the programming.

I have a question for the group regarding spare tires. I want to order the Ford spare tire and jack but they could not find the parts. Has anyone ordered these parts to replace the sealant and pump?

Love the car so far but it has only been 6 hours... I'll post more tomorrow.

 Welcome aboard and congrats on your new purchase. The parts dept. should have the part numbers you need really. Other than that little situation, you'll gonna love the car the more you drive it.

I successfully programmed an extra key for use with the Ford remote start system for push button starts.....Let me know if you continue to have trouble....i do remember it was a quirky program and you have to watch for the light to flash in the push button start .....I still have the programming instructions and could scan them for you....

Congrats, just curious why your dumping the F1 Supercar tires (which have phenominal grip) with basically a Minivan tire? My F1's are great, quiet, tons and tons of grip and look great too, fits the sporty side of the "sport" package. If you were after a smooth ride and luxury why not just buy the non sport?

It's only been 6 hours and you will probably love the car more as time goes on. On October 1st my 2010 turns one year old. The only extra on mine was the performance package. I sold the Goodyear F1 tires and replaced them with the Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires because I have to drive in Wisconsin. The Goodyear F1 tires are great on dry roads and above 40 degrees, but are terrible in snow and cold. You won't regret changing the tires once the first snowstorm hits New Hampshire.
I'm enjoying this car quite a bit. Previous car was a '92 SHO that went strong for 17 years.

Are the Primacy tires just for winter? I'm also confused as to getting the Performance Package and then going with those tires. But for winter? Sure...

Congrats on the new car! Mine is 9 months old tomorrow and I love it as much now as the day I drove it home.

The Primacys are decent all season tires. I had them on my G35 and they came with the SHO. Not the ultimate in grip but quiet, long wearing (50k warranty), and a good compromise.

Follow-up comments

Well it has been 4 days since I picked up the ride...

I love it more than ever. I traded a 2005 Ford 500 Limited. I'm so happy I picked the SHO with the performance package. It is not too harsh for my taste. Love the way it corners... it reminds me of my younger days with those british sports cars... a little rough but so much fun.

So far...
- installed the weathertech mats. They are good and fit nicely.
- replaced the Eagle F1 tires with Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires.
- installed the Valentine V1 radar detector
- ordered vanity plates (NH - TRBOSHO was available)
- installed two additional keys (dealer service performed the work for free) They had some issues but with the help of Ford they were able to clear the error codes.

The dealer is getting me a complete spare tire kit from a 2009 junked taurus so I can replace that tire inflation package. In my research, I did find that you can order the spare tire on the Maxxis Tire web site. Not sure what wheel would work with tire. The SHO at the dealer had a Maxxis T155 70D 17 as the spare. Hopefully this will prevent being stranded without a spare.

More to follow...

I took a 18" Taurus Limited rim for my full size spare that I take when I go on the road.

So, again, are the Primacy your winter tires??

The Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires are all-season. I replaced the Goodyear F1 tires with the Michelins last December. I've had them on since then. They seem to be pretty good in all conditions.

Yeah, but why get the Performance Package and put on minivan tires? I don't get it...

Are you trying to be funny or are you just stupid?

Go ahead and drive on snow and ice through the midwest and Rocky Mountains in winter on Goodyear F1s.

The Michelen tires the SHO comes with are pretty good. Wouldn't go as far as to call them minivan tires, they probably dont grip as great as F1s in the dry, but for people who live in places with rain they are great. I remember driving my vette on F1s the rain was like suicide.

Congrats on your new SHO! Best car I ever owned (miss it already). I had the performance package on my 2010 SHO and used Michelin Ice snow tires on 17" rims for the winter. I replaced the compressor with one of the mounted snow tires for my spare (fit perfect circumference wise, but was taller than the spare well was deep). I think getting the performance package and then getting rid of the performance tires that came with it is was what the previous poster was getting at. IMHO having the Eagle GTs for the summer and having snow tires/rims for the winter is a better solution than buying year round tires. Discount tire will swap them out each season for free if you buy them there. I spent $1,100 for the tires and nice 5-star black powder coated machine lip 17" rims (smallest diameter that will fit with no clearance issues). It solved my no spare problem too.
