I think Fiat is going to do great things for Chrysler. With all the new interiors their cars are getting for 2011, they're coming back into relevance... now let's see if Fiat can get them into competition!

Fiat certainly understands nice looking. Particularly when they selected models for the Chicago Auto Show....

When has Dodge ever offered anything that can remotely be compared to the King Ranch package, let alone the new F150 Platinum?

The F150 Lariat has always been better then the Dodge Laramie package and when you compare the top of the line Dodge interiors to the King Ranch they just look silly.

Even my mopar buddies that cant spell rock after I give them four letters know that the overall interior quality or attention to detail is garbage.

I got into a charger and I swear to you everything felt like cheap plastic. The interior was like it had been put together by a 4yr old.

So that's your roundabout way of saying that you haven't actually sat in a new Ram or JGC?

I'd suggest you actually do before talking trash about things that you have no experience about. That would actually be logical. :thumb:

......Well stated and I agree completely!

I'm not entirely brand loyal myself, and like I stated previously, I've owned several models and makes......

All of them, whether people choose to acknowledge it, or not, have their pro's and con's.

I have my brand preferences, but I'm not brand loyal. I'd rather get the best product that suits my needs than purchase something out of blind loyalty; hence why I have a TL as my DD (otherwise I really couldn't care less for Honda or Acura ;) ).

I'm a car enthusiast, I like good and unique cars regardless of what badge is on the hood.

Why bother? Just because in your opinion they have two cars with nice interiors out of the numerous ones they produce, I'm somehow supposed to believe they've learned how to manufacture a quality car?

In the words of Tyler Durden: putting feathers up your butt does not make you a chicken....

After you loudly proclaimed how crappy one thing is, it's really not a great idea to then let everyone know that you actually have zero experience and knowledge in that object.
You don't have to believe me (nor was I trying to convince you of anything), but out of curiosity why did you bother commenting on something you don't actual know or particularly cared for?

Ummm, Sebring.

That's all I need to know to know how crappy Chrysler is (was).

The guy running Fiat SAVED the company from a huge labor dispute and brought them out of the red to making money in a very short time, Chrysler should be good soon.
IMHO Global platforms with various body panels will do wonders.

Sergio Marchionne. He's a very good CEO, on a level with Mullaly. If anybody can save Chrysler from the abysmal crap-fest they're in now, it is him. Have you seen the jeep pick-up prototype they're carting around? That thing is :dribble:! And I hate pick-ups! And jeeps! And Chrysler!

Btw, I'll try to keep it to my inside voice from now on. I was unaware my posts actually had audible attributes.

So since we're on the topic of experience, I'm curious: have you sat in a Ford with either the King Ranch, Platinum, or Harley Davidson package? Since you're so bent on experience I'm praying you've been in all three.

I see how this works. You're allowed to comment on me saying (which most agree, and is common knowledge throughout the auto world) that dodge hasn't been known for producing quality interiors. BUT, when you suggest Dodge has finally figured out how to produce a decent interior by presenting two examples, I'm not allowed to reply.

I totally see how this works now.

I'll just put it short and sweet. I have many friends that own Dodge trucks and cars. After being in their cars I have zero motivation to make my way to the local mopar dealership to see how 'great' their new interiors are.

Heck, I'm a GM guy at heart but I'll freely admit that until the past few years, Ford has had the best interiors of the Big 3. I do feel GM has vastly improved lately and I do look forward to seeing what Fiat does with Chrysler...

I agree. The interior of my STS-V is really nice. It helps when you have the same company who designed the interior of the Maybach does your car. The new Ford interior looks very nice. I think the Chrysler interiors can be improve by better materials.
