It'll be hard to find without the system pressurized unless there is still coolant pooling or a trail that's easy to spot. Nothing is easy to spot on the back of the motor unfortunately.

I'm wondering if I could just hook this up to an air tank and put a little pressure on the system. That way I could work on it cold and not have to put it back together to run the engine up to temp.
Anyone have any thoughts on why it seems only to happen around the time the thermostat would open? I don't think the thermostat would control any flow at that part of the engine.
