HI, and thank you guys in advance for info.

Here is what happened. most of the summer I was working on my car , so i barely drove it.
One night, i went to start my car and dashboard lights were out, except for Climate control and light for manual light switch. I also couldn't turn my fogs on, but everything else worked fine.
checked the fuse and it was blown, i think number 13. Replaced it with another one, and that one blew right away. Disconnected fog lights next morning and replaced fuse and it worked. Drove it for almost 2 days and in the afternoon realized that dash lights are out again. Disconnected fogs completely and its been working for 2 days now.
I can't figure out it that's the same fuse for fogs and dash lights or not, since i can't find CHilton's book or maybe it's just a coinsidence and something else goes wrong.

Are the fogs oem or correctly rated replacements? Might be pulling too much current. Do you have access to an evtm manual?

Fogs are all aftermarket now. I still use factory wiring and all that in the car, except housing and I installed HID in them. Worked for over a year/2 great and now this thing. My HIDs were old type first, so I replaced them with the other once that don't short out anything. But I don't get it,if that's the case, why would it do it only sometimes and when car is parked. I already checked all the connections and everything is done nice and neat.

I wonder if it drew too much current at some point. I'm not sure if there is enough power difference to matter. You installed new ballasts/housings for the HID?

yes I did. It worked fine all day and all night. But I can't find out if dash lights share the same fuse with Fogs. At least I would know which direction to go.

Do you have the "fish tank" setup? If so, maybe that wiring at the switch is touching?? Just a thought.

I actually do, but it's LED and I connected them to my corner lights. Those work fine too. I'm about to connect my fogs again and see if it happens again tonight.
