Black is just easier. The other color schemes take to much work, gotta lay out the dot pattern or rainbow pattern. And polishing them would take just too long, besides, cast iron doesn't polish that well, at least if that is what it is made out of. Just too much work. :swing: Brown is too poopy looking... funny stuff, guys.

A dude can sport a pink shirt, but not pink parts on a SHO, at least not on my SHO Hey, if you like it and that's your thing, go for it.

I used silver POR 15. Lightly wire-wheeled the rust, masked the studs and brushed it on. Nice glossy finish and is hard as nails.

So far (6 months) looks good.

Gloss black everything. No need to advertise. Anyone that cares will see the gloss black just as fast as if it were bright red.

As a matter of fact, I used it there, also. The stuff works EXTREMELY well on rusted parts. So far, in my experience, this coating is incredibly durable. And a little goes a long way.

I purchased the six pack of small cans. When I first discovered this coating I bought a larger can but I found out that it tends to have a very short shelf life after it's been opened the first time. I ended up throwing over half of it away because it hardened in the can.
