Called the guy and we are arranging for Monday. As tomorrow is Father's day, our day is pretty much booked, also the motor is stored away in a warehouse closed up on Sunday.

Update:

I'm borrowing a company truck filled with company gas (all on the up and up by the way) and driving over to Vancouver on Tuesday to pick up the engine.

Excellent.

Now as long as Gene picks up my clutch from Mike and gets it to Alex on Friday or Saturday so he can get it to me on Sunday so I can get it to the shop first thing Monday AM all will be well......

Howdy.

I'm on the 10:15am (Tsawwassen-Duke Point) on Friday and will be able to pick up the clutch and mufflers in some form or fashion. What time are you guys getting together at Misson on Sat. ? It would be nice if I can peel myself away from my duties for a few hours and meet all you folk. But worst case scenario, I can atleast get parts to the island.

Glad things are working out for the boys from Port. Hopefully I can have my ride back together shortly after I get back from Quadra Island. I hope the weather holds. Cheerio gents, I'm off Kayaking!!

Update:

So ... latest update off note not SHO related ...

Met up at the shop today with Doug & Brent where the engine was stored for sale.
Replacement engine for Doug/Brent's T-Bird SC Coupe just loaded on Doug's borrowed company truck.
Complete engine/tranny combo strapped for the drive back to Port Alberni.

This Bird will be saved from the scrapper
Good luck guys to revive your SC Birdy and hopefully we can meet again on a SHO gathering.

Dropped it off at the shop this AM. Once we get the TBird there we will decide what bits get swapped.

And I got my new South Bend Stage III clutch and a ceramic TOB in Bull on Monday. Drove it this AM. Pedal barely feels like it's there...

Doug and Brent - We should have a "Sho & Tell" (T-Birds Welcome) after you break the clutch in and Brents Phoenix has risen. I will have some time this week to get going on my CPS replacement so we should all be in good shape in a week or so.
