Last night i went to race, but for some reason rpm would cutt off a little after 6000rpm, as if it was it's limit. I thought i didn't have enough gas, so went and put more gas in the car and still the same. As far as i know, this car had LPM in it before, so i was thinking if without one, it could set computer limiter back like that. What do ou guys think?

that would be correct!! With the LPM, what did you have the RPM set to? and where did it actually go with the LMP installed before it cut out?

I'll check my plugs tomorrow if the weather gets better.
As for LPM, I have no idea about, because i bought this car swaped and lots of work done, but I found out on this forum that it had LPM before and then removed, so i don't know what specs was it set too.
Here is another thing that is going on with it: when car gets hot, fan won't kick in until a little over 3 quaters of the guage. I have a feeling that there isn't enough power to it or something, but at the same time got me thinking if that could be CCRM getting tired "of this life".

Mine kicks in high too... Always have..

but what would be the problem causing this problem? I mean, I'm afraid that one day it will overheat and I would have to do serious engine repairs. Would underdrive pulleys cause this? I checked for thermostat and looks like it had antifreeze circulation fine. Can it be that fan is getting old and requires more power or something?

As long as the fan kicks on in the "normal" range of the guage, it should be fine.

Get a temp gun and shoot under the hood to make sure that the guage is accurate.

Everything sounds good to me in the cooling department.

I would also find it rare that an aftermarket chip or lpm would LOWER the rev limiter. They usually raise it.

SHO tach's are not the most accurate, but should be within a few hundred rpm's.

I could go with tach is slightly off but not by a thousand rpm, right?
as for LPM, you didn't probably undestand what i meant. There was LPM before on this car but was removed before I bought it, so i was thinking maybe by removing LPM could set limiter back?
I didn't check spark plugs , yet, thanks to this crazy weather condition.

checked plugs today and found out that 3 wires were not clicked on plugs. Didn't test it yet, but hope to do it later tonight.

ok, i checked just now, rpm go to almost 6800 and limiter cuts off again. By the way the other one would barely drive, seemed like it had only 2-3 cylinders working and that car's plug wells were full of water. Today, i was changind wheels and smelled gas on passenger side, will check for fuel leak friday. Maybe problem could be there too.

Ok, does everyone with cowl hood get water in at least on of thier plug wells, or just me? Both cars - same story.
