Wiring an aftermarket cd player

Ok so I used the hidden harness in the dash and unplugged the factory amps. I wired my pioneer deck and left the factory jbl's in the doors and deck and it sounds great. Of course there wasnt enough bass because I bypassed the factory sub but to fix that I installed my 2 Jl Audio 12's with memphis 1000 watt amp. Now I just need to get a better alternator.

i never unpluged the amp and it worked finr till the amp blew then I rewired it all. that was **** to do

Is there an easy way to keep the stock sub? Or will I have to run wire from the rca preouts to the factory sub amp? That's what I had to do on my explorer

The only way I know is a harness that runs from your trunk to the new deck and its like 80 bucks. It incorporates all of your factory jbl stuff with the new deck but its still easier to just do it the way you said. For me though that factory sub just isnt enough. Thats why mine just sits there unhooked. It still vibrates though from the JL W3's sitting under it.
