Are you trying to say that one of driver side SubFrame Bolts just spin? IF its a rear you can go in thru the recall hole inside with a wrench & hold the nut as the tabs that hold the plate/nut from spinning have broken off. If its a front there is much more to remove to get to the hole in the SubFrame to hold the nutplate.
--please use spell check & more periods please!--

On the inside of the subframe there is a square hole to access the nut. You must move/remove the ABS pump & horn brkt to see it. OR cut a hole on the outside!

Bill... maybe you might cut a hole.. but I wouldn't tell anyone to just make a hole.. :) Hate to see someone cut a big hole, or in a bad spot and have a problem later on.. :)

I'm pretty sure with a 15, 17 maybe wrench , (closed / offset end) should grab it. If that dosent work.. I can't remember but a Craftsman might not fit.. might need a snap on if you know someone with them.. they're a little thinner.

Otherwise you'll need an impact... and put antiseize all over that damn thing, it'll help thread it, and be nice to unthread it when you take it off. ;)

or just remove the inner fender liner and tire one whatever side they are working on... unless my car has holes in the body that aren't supposed to be there, which wouldn't surprise me.

Eric, I think that only works when you have subfame recall nuts up front...the ORIGINAL subframe nuts require that you get in there if the tabs are broken.

NEpaintballer, It sounds like you have holes that weren't there originally. On the Driver's side, cutting a hole on the outside is the only way to save an original subframe nut without taking considerable risk that you will damage the 15-20 year old Anti-lock brake lines.

To the OP, You have a dilema. The correct way to fix this issue is to replace the bushing(s). I'm fairly sure that even if you CAN get a wrench on the old subframe nut, you won't be able to get it any tighter. Original front subframe bushings do not "squeeze" the subframe.

If you let the sub frame hang down a little and put pressure on the nut you might be able to tighten it.
