Hello, I am bewildered. I changed oil and cleaned throttle body with carb cleaner while it was on car. She will not run. I have spark and there is gas spewing out of schrader valve when cranked but will not run. She ran fine this morning. I hear fuel pump but have not gone to purchase a fuel pressure gauge as of yet. I was wondering if there is some common knowledge or someone has experienced this problem. I am very short on time(traveling for Thanksgiving ya know) so reason for post.

Thanks,
Russel

Keep the accelerator pedal floored while cranking, until the car starts and clears out all the crap in the intake. Spraying the carb cleaner and continuous cranking flooded the engine.

IIRC There's a sticker on the throttle body that says not to clean it with carb cleaner...

But yes, flooring it and cranking clears it out fast. Shouldn't take more than 5-10 seconds.

I heard the Government says we only have to check every 3 years after the car is 15 years old to check for any type of cancer. And you have to have a mechanic do it as checking yourself is useless.
