Went to the drags on friday for my birthday. First pass was right out of the gate was my best ever.:woo-hoo: I have never had so much wheel spin in first with slicks. That's why the 60 foot isn't that great, but check out the trap speed. I have no doubt this sucker is gonna run a 12! After that, it was all down hill from there. 3 broken cv shafts and I was done for the night.

Here's the slip.

You probably break more axles than anyone. I can't believe you haven't hit 12s yet.

Good job, though. You'll get there. :thumb:

And congrats brian, I knew she had more in her, I'll be waiting for the 12 second pass text message:naughty:

If the axles don't break, the next weakest link (and well all know there are PLENTY of them) will!

Plenty? What weak links are there? His trans is quiafed, and if the axles are solid, that leaves maybe first gear but I haven't heard of anyone ever breaking first gear, and cracking a tranny case is pretty rare.

I've broke both 2nd and 3rd ... and stripped the input shaft.

Your trap is screaming. If you can get a bit better launch and pickup the first half of the track you will get my record. You are certainly making more power than me with a trap that high.

oh I know that has happened, but what do stronger axles have to do with 2nd and 3rd in a n/a car, brian breakes them off the line, not when he shifts.

Yes and odds are it will be wheel stuts or something, but on the other hand no something does not have to break, if you have parts strong enough to take the power the car is laying down, then no you won't break something (ok maybe 99.9999 percent of the time you won't I wont say it's 100% that's jsut ignorant). If this were a 900hp s/c car and you wanted axles for a fuse, then that's fine, but I really don't think he will break anything else major if anything at all with the stronger axles.

you broke 3 CV joints in 1 night? :frantic:

most folks road racing pull a tire/tool trailer to the track. for the drags, brian pulls a trailer full of half shafts :laugh_ti:

time to break open the wallet for those driveshaftshop HD ones

Holy Cow! You're knocking on The Other Woman's door with that trap speed and she only weighs 2200 pounds! Very good numbers.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.
This is also a "Full Weight" 91+. There has not been any weight removed.
If believe it weighed 3344lbs at The convention this year. I weigh 180lbs.
