Hey guys, I need some help painting the shop. I've had the southern and western patios enclosed and stucco'd. Now I need to paint it and the pros want more than I can afford.

Who all would be willing to help? It would be over a saturday and sunday since I have to put on two coats, and we could provide a tasty, though probably unhealthy lunch both days.

I hate asking for help but it will take me days and days to do by myself.

Thanks.

Hey dude... just do it like they way a "pro" would do it... I would imagine you can rent the equipment at Home Depot or something. A few hours of masking, and you could spray the thing fast... you'd be really suprised.

Just a thought... I mean I do electrical work and watch them spray stucco all the time. The front of a big building is about a days work for them. And by big, I mean like a 600' long building. :)

I'm in. My possibly-future-brother-in-law left his spray rig over here and I have a medium duty Wagner one I'll bring over too. Let's just try to schedule it before the the twins are born in late August/early September.

I've got a nice airless spray rig still in the box but we can only use it to spray the primer on the wood part. The stucco is getting two rolled coats of Elastomeric paint that shouldn't be thinned for spraying.

I'm thinking the weekend of the 16th of July?

I'm in SoDak until July 16th, did you mean the weekend after that, i.e., the 18th-19th? If so, I'm in.

Yeah, I meant the 18th-19th. I'll have lots of rollers and trim brushes and an airless for the eaves and the North patio/awning. And a working bathroom...Yay!

Alrighty then. I'll see everybody early Saturday morning, 7 AM would keep us out of the hot afternoon sun. I'll have the airless ready to go and masking tape and drop cloths and brushes and rollers, and, and, and...Thanks a bunch guys. This will really help me out.
