And a cowl hood! I've been anxiously awaiting the completion of this beast.

you and me both.. lol

yeah the color is not exact with the gen I's its nearly the same with the Gen II's. in sunlight the seats look the same in the gen I but lower lighting brings out the darker tint to the gen III seats. i like it though. was worth it for the pass thru if nothing else.

seat swap

another great option is to use Gen 4 seats -- had a set of greys from a 2000 Taurus GL in my 89 GL/SC, bolted right in, just had to make the electrical connection work for the driver's side, passenger is manual.

the gen 4 seats IMHO are the bomb -- and much easier to find in good condition.

could drag up some pics if you are desperate.

I had gen3's in my old 89.

Splice in the gen3 connector, and bolt them in. Simple.

Yes gen1 is the best indeed, but the gen3 seats are slightly better for everyday use. The darker beige of the gen3's did clash a bit.

(Those seats) + (That Steering Wheel) = WIN!

Oh yeah, you should try out the Lincoln Continental rear bench!

(I'll get a picture later today, hopefully.)

They are so plush and they blend in with the Gen 3 Grey leather...
and they bolt in exactly to the mounting brackets.

I have Gen 3 SLO seats in my Supercharged SHO. The seats are wider which is good for me and they are very comfy. At the time I wanted something cleaner and the grey color matched the grey/blue interior. I go only straight in that car so no real need for side to side action. They be comfy!

As said before I had to rewire no biggie.

I'll try and post a pic someday when I drive the damn thing.

I'd like to see some pics of some front grey gen 3 sho ones in a grey gen 2........... to see how it looks and the colors match

anyone got any pics?

my seats are starting to get bad, the bottom passenger side is splitting on a seam and they are just dirty looking..... cleaners don't really help.... would be nice to upgrade to more modern seats with less wear and tear
