So I have had this problem since day 1 but have just got around to taking a look at it. Last weekend I took off the IAC and cleaned it with Carb/Choke cleaner and got alot of carbon build up out and let it dry and reinstalled it.
By the way yes I did pull the codes just don't have them right at the moment. I disconnected the battery for 15 minutes to allow the computer to erase the stored codes also before starting after reinstalling. Upon reinstalling the cleaned IAC it ran fine for a minute and then started to idle surge constantly until it would die.
I have come to the conclusion that the IAC was on it's way out and cleaning it just made the symptoms worse.
It has never had issues other than the low idle surge which was not at all this bad until now and the A/C compressor clutch which I have already disconnected. So just looking for a few opinions before throwing new parts on it, and yes I know it is hard to diagnose without the codes so I apologize.
Any help is truly appreciated,
Matt......
