other than new plugs ( autolite 3923s?) do i need to do anything else to put the zex 82021 kit on my SHO? i searched, but didn't find a for sure answer...

i would upgrade your fuel pump to a 155. im running the same setup with a 100 shot.

i was just planning on using the 75 shot at most. just for a little extra kick. what gap for the plugs?

.032 - .035

Make sure that you USE HOSE CLAMPS on all connections. The hoses will fly off without them.

how do i retard the timing? i know...noob question. i'm a pushrod motor kind of guy though lol

You dont have to, but if you want you can tap into the octane adjust switch.

Just search octane adjust and you will find all the info you need.

As long as you are running high test gasoline, you don't need to retard the timing. You will have plenty of fun with the 75 shot. Don't get greedy like some of us!:evilgrin:


P.S. Change your fuel filter as well.

********.... lol Trust me I know. I'm running 110 octane and still detonate BAD... Hope theres a tweecer expert at the convention....


EDIT: lemme take some of this back, I'm not running a ZEX kit....

I ran a 75 shot, and never had a problem. Never had to retard the timing, never put a different fuel pump in............just plugs.
