What I just picked up.
Okay, I'll tell you so you will quit guessing.
I just snagged a Ford Service Bay Diagnostic System from Craigslist. It's old and outdated no doubt, but it will be good for me to learn diagnosing on. It's humungous, but it powers up and has a touch screen CRT. Needed a forklift to load it in the back of my truck. It comes with about 50 adaptor cables, update CD's till about October 2000, a remote diagnostic "suitcase" for remote diagnosing and a Customer's car Black Box recorder, which I assume is for data logging over several days.
Even though I don't have any SHO cars left, (only an 86 XR4Ti) it should be fun to see how well it helps diagnose some SHO issues.
I think it runs on an 8086 platform. My grandfather told me about those systems though, so we should be okay.
