I used one out of a 1st gen eclipse.... its the one that is like a pistol grip.... made shifts very direct, and was easy to hold...

allthough it didnt have the right threads... it does have a soft-ish plastic that if you force it to thread will hold just like stock....

only downside is its kinda on the big/tall side....

im currently on the stock one now.. but i may put that one back on...

Yes, i do love the stock one, but the leather is peeling and its not too atractive. I used to drive my girlfriends genI eclipse and it was a ok shifter, but i like teh SHO's alot better

I have a plastic **** out of a mid-80's Jetta. I love the feel of the ****, I just wish it were leather wrapped. Someday I'll get it wrapped.

Large Hurst ball style. It's a little odd at first because of the size, but once you get used to it it rocks.

IMO, far more comfortable then any stock style ****.

Mine. It's a Ford Racing product, p/n# FMS-M-7213-G. I found it in the Summit catalog but it's much cheaper elsewhere. Even amazon.com sells it. (just do a google search for it) It's also available in carbon fiber and I believe without the aluminum trim. It fits on a SHOrt shifter better than stock shifter (no gap between the shift boot and shift ****) and looks awesome in a black interior.
