Hi everybody,

I've got yet another question about my plugs and wires, it's proly stupid, but my brain is fried from school and work :headbang:! so here goes:

I called around to all the parts stores yesterday and autozone had all of the parts i need except for the motorcraft wires, they only carry Bosch wires. They did however, have the double platinum plugs, the gas filter, and the gaskets. My question is, would it be alright to use the motorcraft double platinum plugs with the Bosch wires? or would that just screw everything up again?

Motorcraft is by ford. This is why the aftermarket suppliers don't carry them.

Go to the stealer or to fordpartsnetwork.com and get the correct set.

For the plug wires I would either go with the OEM motorcraft wires from Fordpartsnetwork.com, or the OEM fit AC-Delco wires from rockauto.com. If you have money to burn I would get the motorcraft wires (always a good choice), but I have heard that the AC-Delco wires are a perfect OEM match, and at only 33.99, they are definitly easier on the wallet. I have not heard of any problems with these wires. Next time I do plugs and wires Im going to run the AC-Delcos.
Other cheaper aftermarket wires will work but I have not heard good things, so IMO stay away.

Make sure the spark plugs are model AGSP32PP (now obsolete), or AGSP32FM (the new fine wire plug from Ford). Gap @ .042". Accept no substitutes!

good luck
