i bought a 95mtx about a year ago and the guy told me this and that had been done (repair-wise) turns out not to be true, but anyway....

i was getting some major hesistation and starting to sputter. i had an appointment to get new plugs and wires but i decided not to wait.

Took it to a shop with my own plugs and wires, turns out there was quite a bit of oil in the wells!

Anyway, a few hundred dollars and a night with me with no car, my car runs great! I literally dont think its been this responsive the entire time ive owned it! (no thanks to you Mr Wambold)

anyway, my wallet isnt quite as thick but im happy how well my car is running!

stay tuned for some boulevard battles!

Yep, bad valve cover gaskets are quite common on the V6's. Glad it's running better now:thumb:

plan on getting the valve cover gaskets replaced soon, or they will wreck your new wires/plugs prematurely. just cause they cleaned the plug wells doesnt mean there wont be oil in there next week...
