My voice...yup...Had to make sure the times were voiced cause getting them on camera is tough sometimes.

I thought at first something was wrong with the buggy. As you can seen nik was ahead at mid track.

Tom, that must be crazy going 116 in an open cockpit!

If you are afraid to beat on your car.. you fail, I'm sorry.

There's beating on your car and then there's breaking it... I've snapped an axle everytime I've tried to rip it out of the hole.

What axles? I do my best to rip out of the hole very time and stay around 2.2 or lower so there's sure to be some stress involved. I'm not saying you cant drive, just wondering what axles you run or if you just have bad luck.

I'm using autozone axles and I generally let the clutch out fast at about 3700RPM.

Raxles axles... Both yours and mine are stock, Raxles just has new joints.

I don't know how your boost builds, but I get instant boost when I'm on it launching at a decent RPM.

However, my last axle was broken on a 1-2 shift....

I have no boost when I launch. I shift fast as **** but contrary to what a most will say, I don't shift really hard.

It's not the hard shifting that'll get you, it's the quick clutch engagement that will. IIRC, you're running a stage 1 clutch. That's helping ease the shock for you if you do let the clutch up with some boost. My clutch grabs and doese it quick.

Pre-loading is your friend.

i also take at least 2 sets of axle's with me every time I go to the track.

I launch at 5200 RPM with a 100 SHOt of giggle gas on stock axles turning Hoosier Quick Time Pro's.

Oh yeah, I also have a home made "line loc".;)

You wanna quick drag time, you gotta go after it. I have never gotten a time slip from bench racing.

As Mr. Washington says in Training Day "Man the Fu*k up!". :)

This all comes from me making over a 1000 drag passes in my life. I live 15-20 minutes from my local track. I have also finished in the top 5 for the season 3 seperate years.

I'm a drag racer.

Yes, that's what I mean. It's hard to explain but I can shift pretty quick while being pretty easy on the drivetrain. I've broken a lot of clutches to learn how.

It appears I was thinking two different things when typing and crossed them... I haven't broken an alxe from launching, I get too much spinning for that. The axles I've broken were a 1-2 shift and at about 6,000 RPM in first an axle broke right off in the transmission.

Remember that I have a Fidanza with a CMIII clutch. My Yamahammer is all top end. +40's header's yada, yada..... so I have to rev her up a little bit to make some power. Good thing there is a 10lb turbo in the trunk.:p

lol, I remember. Good thing you have a quaife so you could poke it out from the other end easily.
