I have a 95 ATX, just had my oil pan and front crank replaced. It was accumulating oil and my exhaust and causing it to smoke. Anyway, I want to remove my cats and clean them off, and the pipe. I assume this is the "Y pipe", so do i just unbolt clean and bolt back on or do I need to replace gaskets when i take it apart, does it need to be torqued to a certain spec? Thanx

I wouldn't go thru the effort of removing the ypipe just to clean it. Any residual oil will burn off. Not worth risking breaking a manifold stud just for that.
