How do you get that thing loose?(actually 2 of them) Well if my exhaust is the problem of my slo sho, it is not the cats. Now I need to separate the y pipe and the resonator to see if they are clear. I sprayed Liquid wrench (only tried one bolt)and it is not coming off. Which is the best to turn: nut or bolt? I cant really get a socket on the nut :(
I am thinking of having my car dyno'd to know for SURE that I am not crazy. I just feel like it is way too slow for a sho, especially an mtx. What are the pros and cons of the dyno?

If there is a regular nut on the cat ****** bolt, somebody has replaced the original tabbed nut. It will hold itself by swinging the tab up against the pipe so that you only have to put an 18mm socket on the bolt side.

yeah, the nut will hold it's self, just turn the bolt.

don't know if the dyno run would be worth the money, but if you decide to do it, let me know, i might go with you, that way you'd have a good condition mtx to compare to.

sorry again for all the bad luck, if you need any help, feel free to call me, you should still have my number.
