In that pic I posted I was running a 12 LED amber bulb, now I have Silverstars 3457s, these have a slight purple and blue tint on them but they light up amber/orange. I think they look great.

To me I would recommand them, but then I don't really care for the "white/whiter" colour from the Silverstars. The Xtravisions are much cheaper, and brighter to boot, so it made sense to me.

But then if you already have the Silverstars, don't bother switching until one of them goes, the Xtravision isn't a dramatic improvement over the Silverstars, in fact you barely notice it until it rains.

any way you guys can do a down the road or on the wall comparison of these fogs? that'd be a better way to see thier brightness rather than head on shots
I had 3 pics like that with just the headlights on, with only fog lights on, and with both on, but I had since deleted them on my Photobucket account, I'll try to dig them up and upload them again.
Trust me though, these fogs are bright, you really do not need to turn on the headlights at all at night if thats what you really want, but that's just stupid to do (I cringe everytime I see an idiot with only their fog lights or their parking lights on driving at night).

I am STILL kicking myself for not picking a set up on ebay when I found them for $75 for the kit!

the x1010 is awesome.

Kris, where did you find those lights? are they fog lights, or driving lights?

I had clear corners with amber bulbs, FWIW.

I guess I should've worded that differently. :bonk:

My bulbs light up amber but when they're not lit they don't give off any color. They have a chrome like coating over them to prevent that. I guess you could say my bulbs are blingin' yo.

I'll snap some pictures of my fogs against the garage door tonight. Like the ones Kris has, you could drive without your headlights on. My wife hates it when I follow her with them on.

Well, I know it's a g3, but these are Cyber White fog lights in an oval shape. I love these things, and they're only $20! These pictures are with the Silverstar bulbs that I had. I now have a 6000K HID kit installed instead of silverstars.

I was thinking about replacing the foglight bulbs with some SilverStars but I think they're good enough for now......I'll just wait until they burn out.

good luck with that....

The blazertech 2600 that I have use the H2 55w bulb. Highest output of light of them all, but virtually impossible to find. PIAA, Hella and Sylvania all do not make an H2 bulb. There is literally nothing out there worth while as an aftermarket replacement for an H2 bulb...
