I've had my Xcal3 since it came out and have had no problems until today. I went to retune my car and tried to get into my custom tunes with a no go. It makes a noise that signals that it was selected but wont go any farther. It pretty much just freezes there. It still reads codes but won't datalog either. Any ideas as to what's going on?

No help here but my XCal2 tunes sometimes will shut my car off on the 1-2 shift.

Paul has worked around it and gotten one to work well on my car.

Good luck with it!

Just for pointless clarification, there is technically no such thing as an "X-Cal 3". It's actually just called an "X3".

There have been a few issues lately with some of them being buggy. I've also found that the OBD-II connectors on them really need to be plugged into the port on the car very firmly for the unit to work properly. I think there may be a pin issue in their connectors.

I know but the term xcal is engrained into my brain.

I never had an issue with that. It finally gave me some type of error message that said it was full and needed 1750. Thats it. I don't even have any datalogs on it.
