Xcal Tune & PATS

Does anyone know if a Xcal tune would be causing issues with PATS causing a no-start/theft condition?

Ford is telling me they cannot read the PCM... and I have no idea why. So I'm not sure if I have an ignorant tech working on my car that doesn't know what he is doing, or if there is an actual issue going on.

Tunes won't break PATS but it can be turned off in a tune. Sounds like you may have a PCM problem, can you flash it back to stock?

According to the Ford tech he can pull diagnostic codes but he cannot read any codes from the pats module itself. Not sure what that means.
