you guys keep saying the tranny shifts HARD....is this a good thing, or does it just beat up the tranny even more?

I'm no expert, nor a mechanic, but from what I've read, the faster (harder) an automatic transmission shifts, the less heat builds up inside it, and the less wear and tear it receives. It's not like the transmission is slamming into gear, it's just shifting really quick.

I haven't heard any chirps from the tires, but then again I've been driving on wet roads, and I have nice sticky tires (BFG geForce KDW's)

Edit:

I found that turning off O/D around town tonight (another "test drive") seemed to calm down the transmission when driving at slow, constant speeds around 20-30 MPH. Who needs four gears to hit 35 MPH anyways?

I missed out too. Maybe in a few months we can try for another group buy. It shouldn't be too hard with all these happy customers talking it up. :naughty:

Id be in for that. Just got my cams welded so couldnt afford both right now. In two weeks Id be ready to go in on a group buy.

I just picked mine up today. I won't get to try it out till Saturday and even then it might rain.

The cool thing about these things is that you can return your car to stock and then try it on another car. This way you could let someone else demo the programming and see if they like it. Come to the convention in July and you can try mine.

if anybody is getting bored with their gen.3 sho, then this is a MUST. This has pacified me (for the time being) from breaking the bank and going with F/I. The stock tranny in these cars rob a lot of enjoyment from the yammerhammer :p
