The Group Buy ends April 15th. This will allow me to fill all the orders at one time. This is better for my vendor and you as my customers. Once the group buy ends, I'll collect the money, fill the orders at $370 (plus shipping) and provide tracking numbers once they are shipped out.

I've been keeping careful track of who has placed their order and who hasn't. If your name is not on the list, you're not "IN". I paid $325.00 for my X-cal, my tuner ( Wayne Foy from Hypnotic Motorsports www.hypillauto.com ) tunes SVTF's as well as others, don't know about SHOs but Wayne's a great guy and would probably tune anything.

You can download SCT's software free from the net and by simply plugging the provided com port plug into the baqck of your computer, you can download any new files your tuner may have prepared for you ( if you don't have the tuning software yourself ) right into it within seconds.

The best thing about the x-cal is when you sell the car, you can return the car to stock ( and unlock the x-cal ) to use with another vehicle....

For example, the upcoming tune for my new MSM.... :evilgrin:

This is a great mod, provided the tune is done well, I know Wayne made a huge difference with my car, I can only assume the SHO would enjoy similar results...

We're there with Air-to-Spare.

Since there is now more than 8 folks that have made the commitment to me with all the required info, the price is now set at $370. Shipping, Handling and Insurance for US addresses is $10 via USPS Priority Mail. Shipping the Great White North is $20 and will come via UPS (UPSP sucks when the have to cross the border). I'll make special arrangements for those folks as to ease the duty and customs.

If you're not on THIS list, it means that I don't have all the info. If you want in, I need all the info by Fri night. The GB ends Fri night (or by the time I check my e-mail Sat morning 04/16/2005).

doug. after researcing sct website there is a xcaliber 2 that is supose to be relaesed in a month or two wich is supose to have a lcd screen and data logger and be able to clear codes...... is this true?????????????????????????/

Talked to the guys today. X-Cal II's will be a little while. They have yet to see a woking unit.

Said proll'y June...

BTW, we're up to 15 on the list. I'll post the names tomorrow. Time is running short. If you're gonna do it, get it done.

So far everything has gone smoothly, Doug is very good about answering questions via email. Keep up the good work, and I am (im)patiently waiting for it to arrive. :)

Can't wait to get mine.

I want to raise the rev limiter but I debating on how high to go. I've found that I get better ET's manual shifting 2-3 but sometimes hit the rev limiter because the tranny is slow to shift. If I bump the limiter up to say 7500 rpm I won't have that problem anymore. I wonder how high these engines can go safely? I don't think I'd want to go as high as some of the V6 guys do.

In my tuning, I set the rev limit to 7500, then the 1-2 shift to 7000, 2-3 shift to 6800 and the 3-4 shift at 6500. This should give you the best ET as the tranny shifts at the correct rpm in the torque curve.
I also leave the converter application in the same place (80mph ish), but I change how it comes in. It feels more like a shift. I do all the other tricks too.
