I don't care much what's been done to it I'm fine with it factory. And I'd prefer it to be black, white, or red. and don't get me wrong with that first sentence I like performance, I'm just looking forward to doing it myself. Let me know what you got I just might want it

Here's one you might consider. It might not be available at the price you want, but it is black and almost completely stock. You won't find another nicer. (Award winner.) 014

I have a show room new 1990 SHO. White with tan interior with 58k one owner miles. The car has always been garaged and pampered since new. What are you expecting to pay for a good first gen car?

I am sorry to say that I already have too many vehicles and I need to sell at least one at this time, which is the SHO. I need the garage space and we just don't drive the SHO much. I bought it new in 1990 and have always kept it garaged. I will try to upload a picture that I just took of it today.

Ron,

You'd actually consider selling that beauty? Never thought I'd see that day.

Tom
Tom, I'm just not a Garage Queen kinda guy. If I had the $$$$ and, more importantly, a place to keep a trailer, I could bring it to Conventions and such. For now, it can quietly sit if/until an interested buyer comes around. Wish I had the kind of place like Dooleyville, and I could have a lot of Garage Queen cars!!

Ron--
I also am surprised that you would be willing to part with your red '89 after pursuing it for such a long time. But, I also understand your feelings about not being able to drive it because it's one of a kind. It is probably the lowest mileage first year SHO in existence and deserves to be in a museum someday.

I still get the enjoyment of driving my black '91 in good weather during the summer. Fortunately, I now work part-time for the local Ford dealer where I bought my SHO and my favorite technician has known the car since I first took delivery. He takes as much pride in it as I do. It still runs like a champ at 111,000 miles. (I give our buddy Tom Wallenhorst a lot of credit for that also.) I figure it's got a lot more life left since, at this rate, I put less than 5,000 miles on a year.

My 1991 SHO is available. Under 63 k actual miles. It was abandoned in an impound lot for 9 years. Leather seats are cracked and ruined but overall it has cleaned up quite well. Runs very well, MySHO (I drove it from New York to Phoenix without mishap)

The OP wants to build a performance Gen I, my 2 cents is you should spend a bit more from the get go and get one with all the goodies already on it....it will save you a ton of money, time, busted knuckles, gas money for trips back and forth for parts and tools, and internet time searching for parts that are unobtainium, as we have all found out !
