For some reason the hub cap on my steelies aren't flush with the rims when I put them on. Whenever I look at cop cars or Explorers the hub cap fits nice and snug. What parts do I need to fix this?

I'm thinking you may have the wrong hub caps for those wheels. Here is how mine fit on my 2013. Those look like caps from the last generation of Explorer PI.

I just put on my steelies with snow tires on and you need to use the later center cap, Crown Vic ones won’t work

I thought a friend mentioned to me that there's two different, year dependent hubcaps, with each requiring specific fitment nuts.

As far as I know the only different ones are for crown Vic’s, Taurus and Explorer use the same. With that said the 2020 explorer maybe different I don’t know

Just finished talking to that same friend tonight. He clarified and yes it's the crown Vicki he was talking about. He did mention that the charger and Taurus Pi hubcaps will surprisingly interchange. He has a friend with a charger Pursuit and they traded hubcaps back and forth just out of curiosity.

It sure looks like I have Crown Vic center caps! Too bad new caps are so expensive. Hopefully the place I got these from will swap for the correct ones.
