Are lug nuts different size for gen 1 and gen 2

I have an '89 mtx. I got a set up slider wheels to replace the originals. I just did a test fit and the lug nuts i have are a bit too "proud" (or long), so that the center cap cannot be installed.

Are the gen 2 lug nuts a little shorter? And anyone have a set to sell?

Slicers do not use the stainless clad lug nuts. Use a plain bulge nut.
