I have the intake manifold and valve covers off.
I want to flatbed it to my brother in law garage because things came up and I am concern with the snow, beside all the effing rain!

So is it going to be safe, or hurt, or mess up anything by flat bedding it there???

Thanks

I am doing valve lash/shims, wires, plugs, t-stat, heater core hoses, intake gaskets, valve cover gaskets, etc.

I assume the drivetrain is in and four tires are on the ground.

You could two-wheel-dolly it there.

Yes and yes!
I'm basically doing the Upper 60K, well because it never been done and I had to change the heater core hose that attached to the rear head, because it spraying anti freeze all over and that a real PITA!!! Still can't get to it!!!!

So yes I can I know my luck and wanted to be sure!
That being said, I wonder why I have the Sho sometimes!!! lol

I would bolt in the valve covers without fully sealing them, maybe use an old vcg... should only take all of 15 mins. That way there is no chance of something falling down into the oil pan.

When I do a top 60k I put the valve covers back on during idle times.

X2, I would sit the valve covers back on and stuff rags in the intake ports. Should be good to roll.

Remember not to yank on the heater core lines. If you break the heater core, you're going to be pulling the dash... fun!

I was worried about that with the driver side tube, but luckily it came off no problem! Whew!
That dash is not something I am looking forward to doing. So hopefully it will hold up for a few more years!!!

I have a friend that going to flatbed it np for me, so I am luck there as well!

Just having some email troubles with RCM where I am getting my parts and good thing for the way back machine, because Shophoenixproject is indispensable. I used them first time I did my water pump!

Thanks Everyone!
