Would it be okay to use Redline Gear Oil from 1999?

I bought some Redline Gear oil from Performance Plus back in 1999 to have installed with my new clutch. Well my mechanic forgot to use them, so they've been sitting in my garage ever since. The bottles were never opened and they are sealed.

Would it be okay to open those bottles up after 5 years and pour them in?

Hope its not gear oil you are putting into your transaxle. The MTX uses ATF, and I hope this is the redline "gear oil" you are referring to.
