Whenever i go WOT, i get a vibration. As the rpms climb, so does the intesity of the vibration....im not talking about a dash rattling vibration... more of a noticable vibration... that i can feel through the car...
also, whenever i try to shift, lets say, 1-2, i try to shift, but, i cant get it into gear.... i have to wait for the rpms to drop down to under 3k IIRC....
But it does it in all gears... but only at more than 1/2 throttle... under that, she shifts fine....

Could there be something loose, or something that worked its way loose? I mean, i did push her fairly ******* the run, but not THAT hard....

Im going to go jack her up, and see if anything is loose or not...
also, could this have something to do with my rod shifter, breaking? and then fixing it? i can feel the vibrations through the shifter as well....

any ideas, guys? TIA...

Don't try to shift while on the throttle...

If it's in all gears, it's something clutch related.

That might be the problem. Your clutch might not be fully releasing when you push it in, which would be causing the higher stress at higher RPM's, high enough that it wouldn't allow you to shift.

yes, there has been a couple times, when she grinded... not bad though.... just a tap...

i noticed last night that it will do it when i just rev the motor up as well....

could that be becasue of a stretched cable? and could it have anything to do with my recent rod shifter incedent?
thanks for the help guys... seems like we are getting close to the problem...

That proves it. Your clutch is not fully releasing. This could be a stretched cable, or misadjusted one. Or you need to tear it apart.

Well, if it isn't a clutch cable problem it is a mechanical clutch problem. Which would mean tearing the clutch apart to find the problem. Pulling tranny.....
