So I did read through any posts with WOT in the title and didn't find any answers relating to my situation.

I've had the car for a little over 3 months and day 1 it popped a CEL for rear 02 sensor on bank 2, big deal, cleared it, good to go, the problem came back 3-4 more times only after hard acceleration. again, not a biggie, just clear it and its fine, maybe a bad sensor, maybe a chaffed wire, who knows, next time I'm down there ill look.

But the interesting thing I've been noticing is at full throttle it feels like its losing boost or bogging down, but at 75-85% throttle it will pin you to the seat. I don't think the 2 are connected but that's why we have this place, maybe it is, and maybe its not, anyone deal with this? more power at 3/4 throttle than full throttle. Car has no upgrades to speak of, still have the noise maker, K/N drop in filter, No tune, Non PP car (just found out).

One suggestion that might relate to the O2, clogged cats?

how do your fuel trims look? wot cuts out the o2 sensors as it focuses on running rich to save the engine. maybe an injector is leaking?

also check your knock data. typically an issue here with chafed wiring will cause more stutter stepping than bogging but ...

@kryptto im thinking the cats are clear just because of the 3/4 throttle having plenty of power, but i do love this forum too, last forum i was in 15 years ago was good but nothing like this.

@SHOdded my scanner is kinda stupid but it will show some live data, Ill see if it will show me anything for fuel trims or knock. on that topic, i see A LOT of forscan stuff here but truthfully have no clue what it is. im guessing its a ford biased or ford produced tuning software, what is it and whats the cost and can i get the same effect from an SCT tuner that im hoping to eventually get for the car.

dude - I read that thread with SHOBlock - who I didnt truly get his moniker, however was a Ford motor quality tech. The KB of this forum is seriously the best.

ForScan is essentially a hacked version of the OEM software. It is definitely worth the money. I would recommend the OBDLink EX and MX+. The EX will allow connections to a computer and the MX+ will work with your phone. This will allow you many options for scanner software, many of them free. I would not use the MX+ for programming modules. Check out the ForScan site. There is a forum that will explain a lot. You will be able to enable and disable many different settings. I think the lifetime subscription was $50. You will not get the capabilities of ForScan any where else for that price.

This will explain a lot about FORScan. Currently, they only sell a one year license for $12 for Windows.
Also, sell a one time license for FORScan Lite, Android or IOS, for $7.

I recommend this adapter, cheaper and as capable or more so than the OBDLink adapter.

Its a worthy investment if its as simple as it looks, my whole stable is ford and as long as i'm breathing it always will be. it looks like $60 for the usb adapter and $50 for a license (the website doesnt say how much a license is, its not very clear beyond buy the adapter and download the software.) $110 all in to get started, the bluetooth adapter for android is more than that by itself, im most interested in clear live data and maybe playing with some basic settings.

well now seeing that it looks dirt cheap to get forscan up and going so i can pull some better live data. ill look around the website some more rather than milking this forum for a bunch of answers as to its abilities.

Looks like they did away with the lifetime. $12 per year. You used to be able to do the free 2 month every 2 months. Not sure if that is limited now. Still, for the functionality, it is well worth it. The adapter is good for things like CyanLabs Sync 3 updates, Fmodder, HPTuner race app, torque app, etc.

Sounds similar to an issue I had. Check the hose at the bottom center(zip tied)in the attached pic. It has a tendancy to pop off.
Take plastic cover off and it is next to the intake pipes.

will do, was planning on doing some poking around this weekend but got rained out, it feels like im chasing boost, almost like wot is blowing off pressure but just short of it im getting everything. definitely getting forscan in the next week or two, trying to get through the holidays, the lovely company i work for dangled our bonus over us for 2 months, finally approved it, and now we wont get it until after Christmas.

@SHOdded I tried my current scanner and not too surprised, no fuel trims. there is fuel load, and another couple things that say fuel but nothing the scanner can read (or maybe its me) either way, ill post something in follow up after i do a visual inspection and then after I have some data from forscan.

@SHOdded bit the bullet and now have forscan, which fuel trim should i be looking for? Going to set up a series of pids to take it for a drive tomorrow and record some data. The short fuel trims are all over the place, jittery.

I only got about 30 minutes of data before I had to drive it 1200 miles up the coast for a family emergency. The data I did get the long trims were stable and nothing else was out of the ordinary but i dont know how to read the trims so i dont know if the short trims are normal or not, the way the cars been acting the past month I've hardly noticed the problem or I've just adapted to it, if I'm passing someone I try to spool it a little before I mat it and it responds much better. But I've always been told the turbos on these dont need to spool up because of their size. I'll try to record some new data soon and post it, better brains may be able to see something I'm not.

Checking to see if anyone ever came up with a fix. I checked the hose mentioned but still have a hesitation or slight stutter at WOT.
